Watching Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse totally got me back on the Barbie train. (Barbie has a train? Of course she must.) I was too late to find all the dolls from the series, but I got this girl because: ARTICULATED ANKLES! Okay, so it doesn’t take much to thrill me. These dolls can wear flats and heels. It’s about time.
I’m naming this one Sara. Not sure what this Barbie cousin’s place is in my world, but YouTube is really inspiring a resurgence of love for the 11″-12″ fashion doll world, so I think she’ll be getting more company.
I have to say that I was mostly disappointed in the rooted eyelashes. Because they left the lashes long and didn’t curl them at all, most of the dolls look kind of ugly. I had to get down on the floor and hunt to the back for a really good one. I think trimming the lashes a bit would help most of those I rejected.
As an afterthought, I took a picture of the empty package. Because I keep terrible records and will someday want to remember what this girl is.
