This pattern is available for purchase through my Etsy shop. Access to the downloadable file is available immediately after payment is completed. The “Claire” dress is a quality design with simple lines that has a lot of possibilities. You can let your creativity loose with different fabric selections, trims, hand and machine embroidery, etc, to create dresses with this pattern that are truly unique.
One thing that’s great about the “Claire” design is the easy-to-sew sleeves. Tiny doll sleeves can be a real challenge for an inexperienced dressmaker, but these are very easy and cute. If you’ve been looking for something to make for the cooler weather or for those fabrics in your stash that seem to beg for long sleeves, this is a great pattern for you.
“Claire” has a lined, fitted bodice, wide and flattering neckline, 3/4 length sleeves cut in one piece with the bodice, and a full, gathered skirt. Instructions are included for snaps or Velcro closure.
“Claire” is beginner level dress. Along with the cover page and one page of pattern pieces, the pattern includes 6 pages of detailed instructions with photos. In addition to Blythe, this versatile pattern also fits Pullip and Momoko.
“Claire” dresses would make wonderful holiday gifts for all your Blythe-loving friends, as well as great swap items, and new additions to your store. Permission is granted to the buyer for commercial use with credit given to the author. More information is included in the instructions.

In addition to years of sewing experience, both personal and professional, I hold a degree in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising with training in pattern-making. I’ve also taught beginner- and intermediate-level sewing classes. Every effort has been made to create a pattern that fits beautifully and is easy to understand and sew. I hope you’ll give it a try.
