This pattern is available for purchase through my Etsy shop. Access to the downloadable file is available immediately after payment is completed. The “Libby” dress is a quality design with simple lines that has a lot of possibilities. You can let your creativity loose with different fabric selections, trims, hand and machine embroidery, etc, to create dresses with this pattern that are truly unique. It’s the kind of that can easily be trimmed up with lace and made frilly for portraits and parties, or made in bright cotton prints and paired with pants for playing on the monkey bars.
It’s a high-waist, sleeveless dress with a rounded neckline and gathered skirt. The bodice is fully lined and the instructions show both snap and Velcro closures.
“Libby” is beginner level dress. Along with the cover page and one page of pattern pieces, the pattern includes 5 pages of detailed instructions with photos.
In addition to 16cm Lati Yellow (Renewal body), this versatile pattern also fits Lati Yellow Sp and Bratz, fits Pullip and Blythe as an empire-waist top, and likely other similar-sized dolls.
On the 20cm Lati Yellow Sp. the skirt as specified in the pattern is very short, but can easily be lengthened, making this pattern a great one for making sister sets if you have both sizes. If your sisters share clothing, the Sp. can share the dress as is with the Renewal, especially if you pair it with a petticoat, leggings, pants, or bloomers. (This style dress as a top with leggings or jeans is what I dress my real little girl in much of time time–really cute!)
“Libby” dresses would make wonderful holiday gifts for all your Lati-mama friends, as well as great swap items, and new additions to your store. Permission is granted to the buyer for commercial use with credit given to the author. More information is included in the instructions.
