The 18″ Madame Alexander dolls are BEAUTIFUL. Amazing quality for the price (especially when compared with American Girl). As a collector, I really prefer this doll over American Girl in a number of areas. The “My Life As…” line is available at Walmart, the “Play Wonder” line is at Target, and I believe there is also a line called “Favorite Friends.”
Though there are some slight differences, these dolls are essentially the same size as American Girl, so don’t be afraid to try AG patterns and clothes on these beautiful and reasonably priced dolls.
