This dress pattern, named MIMI, is designed for Disney’s “My First” Princess doll. This pattern was created for the 15″ tall toddler doll made by Jakks Pacific, and was fitted using Rapunzel, purchased in 2013, as a model.
MIMI is a party dress with a peter pan collar; full, gathered skirt; choice of short, puffed or long, full sleeves with elastic cuffs, full lining, and Velcro(R) closure.
I’m going to call MIMI an intermediate level pattern due to the tiny curves in the collar and sleeves. Those new to sewing might start with a pattern like LIBBY to get some practice with gathering and sewing small things in general.
