DOLL INFO NOTE! There are at least three different kinds of Disney Princess toddler dolls. If you’re not sure which doll you have, please consult this article before purchasing a pattern: https://dollydelicacies.com/2014/08/09/the-differences-among-disneys-toddler-dolls/
The Peasantry sewing pattern is designed for Disney’s “My First” Princess doll. This pattern was created for the 15″ tall toddler doll made by Jakks Pacific, and was fitted using Rapunzel, purchased in 2013, as a model.
Peasantry is a surprising easy and versatile pattern. With options for long, three-quarter, and short sleeves, it’s good for any season. It also includes a long, dress version which makes a perfect nightgown. Pair the top with a skirt for a party look or with pants or shorts from my PANTS! pattern for every day.
This pattern is easy and suitable for beginners and includes step-by-step instructions with photos. Those with little sewing experience will want to pay special attention to the supplemental instruction provided by the Sewing Guide described below.
*IMPORTANT: As part of your pattern, you will need to download a free copy of the DOLLY DELICACIES Sewing Guide, which acts as a supplement to the instructions found in this file. Download instructions are contained in the pattern and also on my Shop Policies page.*
Garments from Peasantry would make wonderful gifts for all the little princesses in your life, as well as great swap items, and new additions to your store. Permission is granted to the buyer for commercial use with credit given to the author. More information is included in the instructions.
The pattern is in PDF format, and delivery is immediate. Once you complete your payment, you will receive an email from Etsy with download instructions. You will also be able to access your purchase under “Purchases” in your account.
In addition to years of sewing experience, both personal and professional, I hold a degree in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising with training in pattern-making. I’ve also taught beginner- and intermediate-level sewing classes. Every effort has been made to create a pattern that fits beautifully and is easy to understand and sew. I hope you’ll give it a try.
